Fact-Checking Gavin Newsom & Ben Shapiro On Housing Affordability | Episode 423
Gavin Newsom recently had The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro on his podcast for a wide-ranging interview on issues. An exchange regarding housing affordability particularly in California caught my attention.
It is no secret I have next to no respect for the governor that has done more to DESTROY housing here in California. So it irks me when he claims to have done more to the contrary. What is even more frustrating is that it seems Ben Shapiro was giving Governor Newsom a pass and in some cases credit for trying to “fix” the California housing crisis.
Ben should know better. He lived here. I even did an entire reaction video to his leaving. (Linked below)

Los Angeles County To Force Landlords To Provide AC Units?! | episode 390
CBSNEWS: The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to help renters living in unincorporated areas within the county stay cool at home.
The board voted to require landlords to maintain a maximum indoor temperature of 82 degrees Fahrenheit.

This bulletin was sent to me by The Brennan Law Firm and was originally published by The Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles The City of Los Angeles has confirmed the allowable rent adjustment for rent-controlled units covered by the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO). This applies to most residential properties built on or before October 1, 1978, and located within Los Angeles city limits.
